Rogers predicted that 'persons of tomorrow' would be "...at home in a world that consists only of vibrating energy, a world with no solid base, a world of process and change....." Rogers optimistically welcomed change. "I take pleasure in trying to discern the directions in which we are moving...we are going through a transformational crisis from which we and our world cannot emerge unchanged."

The radical changes Rogers intuited are upon us and we suspect they will call for a shift in consciousness. Going Global, November 2015, was designed as a person-centred community that dwelled together for 5 days, and attempted to envision ways of coping creatively with the already arriving challenges.

Eckhart Tolle says, "Wisdom is not a product of thought. The deep knowing that is wisdom comes from giving full attention to someone/something. Attention is primordial intelligence – consciousness itself." Our staff has experienced the large person-centred community as a place of expanding consciousness. We know how to pay attention! We believed our effort would help us to welcome and creatively engage the rapid and unstoppable changes.

About Peggy Natiello

Human development consultant and author Peggy Natiello, Ph.D., worked closely with Carl Rogers from 1978-1987 on many person-centered staffs. Dr. Rogers served as her major doctoral advisor and mentored her dissertation on the nature of learning that occurs in person-centered experiences. Her doctoral and post-doctoral research and writing have addressed significant questions about the person-centered approach.

Known for her person-centered group work, Peggy is an international consultant, serves on the graduate faculty at Prescott College, and has written many articles on client-centered therapy and the person-centered approach. Her book, The Person-Centered Approach: A passionate presence, was written to clarify and demonstrate the importance of this often misunderstood and quite radical approach to psychotherapy, counseling, education, and group work.

About Carol Wolter-Gustafson

I received my Ed.D. from the Department of Humanistic and Behavioral Studies at Boston University. I first met Carl Rogers as a graduate student in a nine-day residential workshop in New York and later worked on staff with him.

I value the unique opportunities for learning that we create together in the week long, residential, large group format. My personal and professional life centers on cultivating a pathway out of the "us-versus-them" thinking and rhetoric that fuels violence locally and globally.

My writing, workshops, and courses (in the USA, Mexico, Europe, and Japan) are concerned with exploring those themes, the person-centered approach, and how to move through the illusion of the body-mind split to help create more fully-functioning persons.

I also maintain a Client-Centered practice in Boston.

About Keemar Keemar

Keemar Keemar has been part of Temenos for 14 years and is currently sole Director.

Keemar has over 20 years experience as a therapist, supervisor and trainer in private practice and large organisations, Keemar's specialism is in creating environments where the growth of the organism becomes inevitable. This is true whether the organism is an individual or an organisation.

Keemar has a passion for creating these environments through his understanding and implementing a fusion between philosophy, theory and practice of person-centred Psychotherapy.

Keemar is involved in all the Temenos courses and runs a private practice in Sheffield.

About John Wilson

John Wilson has been on the Temenos Management Team since February 2010.

He initially joined Temenos in an operational capacity to guide the organisation through difficult economic times.

John is also a trainer in the Person Centred field and has brought this experience to Temenos, contributing to various year groups including Diploma and MSc cohorts, John is currently working with the Temenos Diploma group.

John's specialism is online counselling which has developed into offering online CPD for Partitioners via onlinevents. This online environment has seen the growth and development of online group experience through the use of an unstructured chat room environment.

John runs a private Practice online and in Bathgate, West Lothian.
